Birth of Britain with Tony Robinson, was on the National Geographical Channel last night. I actually missed it, but it is repeated on Thursday evening and Friday night. There are 3 episodes, one covering the ice ages and one on hidden volcanoes in Britain. If students are made aware of how Britain developed, it may assist in topics such as glaciation making them feel more relevant and interesting, to know that ice activity that is being discussed in class once shaped Britain.
